Founders Room
The beautifully restored second floor of the River Discovery Center overlooks the confluence of the Ohio and Tennessee Rivers. Painstaking effort went into preserving this historic downtown treasure and is evident in its original floors, window and door frames, fireplaces and elegant staircase.
There is one large and two smaller rooms available for your event or meeting. Banquet tables and chairs are available for your use.
Capacity: 50-75 with seating; 125 for standing reception

Maiden Alley Cinema
The Maiden Alley Cinema is a 100 seat state-of-the-art theater at the back of the River Discovery Center. When you rent the facility, you will have access to both the lobby area and the theater. For more information on renting the Maiden Alley Cinema for a meeting or event, call the River Discovery Center office at (270) 575-9958. You may want to use the space to show a movie* or for a meeting** or seminar. You may choose the caterer of your choice. Banquet style tables and chairs are available.
* Movies - You will be charged a royalty fee, which is paid to the movie distributor
** Meetings or seminars – if you wish to show a power point, a small fee will be required for technology personnel. Only approved personnel may work the projector or any equipment in the projection room.
