Mound Builders is an off-site classroom program for 5th grade students in partnership with school districts. Students come to the center for a 3-hour program that meets Core Content standards in science, mathematics, economics, history, social science, arts and humanities. The experience teaches students about our indigenous peoples incorporating a hands-on touch table, a math lesson with a hands-on skill and an archaeological investigation involving tools and scientific “dig” methods.
